Welcome to our office! We are pleased to meet you and look forward to helping you meet your dental goals. We know that you may have questions about your first visit and we encourage you to call our receptionist, Elaine, to help answer questions we have not addressed for you here.

  • Please come early! Plan on arriving 15 minutes early so we can begin your care on time and have a meaningful first visit.
  • Please bring in with you any information emailed to you from our office like your health history, or information related to your dental insurance. This information can also be downloaded from our website or directly submitted through our website.
  • Bring in any previous dental records or x-rays for us to review and a list of medications and medical information even if you do not think it relates directly to your teeth.
  • Do you have replacement teeth? Bring them also, We want to make sure they fit well.
  • You can park anywhere in our parking lot, we do have two designated parking spaces in the side lot and have two handicapped spaces, one in front of the building and on in the back.
  • Please be sure to tell us who referred you to our practice. Our practice grows every year because of thoughtful people who recommend our services!

Your child should visit the dentist by his/her 2nd birthday. You can make the first visit to the dentist enjoyable and positive. Your child should be informed of the visit and told that the dentist and his staff will explain all procedures and answer any questions. The less details given about the visit - the better.

Parents are welcome to accompany their child for cleanings and new patient visits; however, we do ask that you allow your children accompany our staff members by themselves for any dental experiences that involve restorations. We are all highly experienced in helping children overcome anxiety. Separation anxiety is not uncommon in children, so please try not to be concerned if your child exhibits some negative behavior. This is normal and will soon diminish. Studies and experience have shown that most children over the age of 3 react more positively when permitted to experience the dental visit on their own and in an open environment designed for children.

It is best if you refrain from using words around your child that might cause unnecessary fear, such as needle, pull, drill or hurt. The office makes a practice of using words that convey the same message, but are pleasant and non-frightening to the child.

We strive to make each and every visit to our office a fun one!
